Tyler Pendry

Tyler provides structural engineering solutions and multidiscipline Project Management for a wide array of industrial clients. After graduating from North Carolina State University with a BS in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Structural Engineering, Tyler cut his teeth in construction management doing material testing, inspections, and reviews of engineering plans, contract documents, and submittals.

After participating in multiple heavy highway construction projects from Florida to North Carolina, Tyler transitioned to a structural design position where he participated in multiple bridge replacements and rehabilitations throughout North and South Carolina. He was also an integral part of the design team for Fortify I-40/440, one of the most high-profile projects in the state.

Since joining Segars Engineering in 2015, Tyler has applied his structural engineering skills to heavy industrial facilities infrastructure and grown a large client base in the western part of Virginia. This growth led to him moving to Roanoke in 2018 to open a second office location for Segars Engineering. Tyler continues to create structural engineering solutions that are both budget-conscious and construction-friendly for Segars’ clients.
